Palace and castle wedding
Is there anything more romantic than a wedding in a palace or a fortress? The Sponza Palace and the Rector's Palace are located in the heart of the old part of Dubrovnik. The Sponza Palace was built in the early 16th century, while the Rector’s Palace is a bit older, dating all the way back from the 13th century. Both buildings have been completely renovated, but have kept their original look and that is what makes them popular and attractive, as newlyweds enjoy having pictures in these mysterious palaces. When we talk about a wedding in a fortress, the newlyweds are particularly interested in fort Lovrijenac, known as the Gibraltar of Dubrovnik. It is a large fortress indeed, so it is particularly interesting for newlyweds who are planning to have a large wedding. Lovrijenac has a spectacular view, as it is located on a rock 37 meters above the sea.
